Marg ERP

Marg ERP Ltd., formerly Marg Compusoft, is a Delhi-based business software company. It says it was established in 1992. Thakur Anup Singh started it with his younger brother Sudhir Singh and friend Mahender Singh Prajapati, and Thakur Anup Singh is now Chairman and Managing Director. Marg makes billing, inventory and accounting ERP software for small and medium businesses.

Its flagship, Marg ERP 9+, covers GST billing, inventory, accounting, e-invoicing and e-way bills, and distributor and retail management. Products listed on this site include Marg ERP, Marg GST, Marg Payroll (HRXpert) and Marg Inventory. Marg also sells online ordering apps for retailers and distributors, and integrations with payment and banking services. The company says it holds more than 50% market share among pharma and FMCG trade businesses in India. Its cloud products include Marg ERP on Cloud and MargBooks, an online GST billing and accounting application. The pharmacy edition includes a database of more than 5 lakh medicines that users can search by salt, substitute and HSN code.

Marg sells mainly through a network of more than 850 partners and dealers across India, who handle installation, training and support. It offers perpetual licences and annual plans, priced in rupees, in single-user and multi-user editions.

Marg describes itself as ISO-certified, CMMI Level 3 appraised and a Guinness World Record holder. It says more than 10 lakh businesses use its software. Co-founders Mahender Singh Prajapati and Sudhir Singh are Managing Directors for technical and for sales and marketing respectively. Marg's leadership team also includes Vinay Bhushan as Chief Growth Officer. The company does not publish revenue or employee figures on its website.
