Zoom Communications, Inc. is a US communications software company headquartered in San Jose, California. Eric Yuan, a former Cisco engineer, founded it in 2011 and is its CEO. Zoom is best known for video meetings. In 2024 it changed its name from Zoom Video Communications to Zoom Communications to reflect its move into a broader work platform built around AI.

The products listed on appadvisor.in cover most of that platform: Zoom Webinars and Zoom Events for virtual and hybrid events, Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Docs, Zoom Whiteboard, and Zoom AI Companion. They also include Zoom Rooms for meeting-room hardware, Zoom Phone for cloud business phone systems, and Zoom Contact Center.

Zoom sells in India through online self-serve plans, direct enterprise sales and partners. Paid plans are billed per user or per licence, with separate prices for add-ons such as webinars, rooms and phone. In October 2024 Zoom launched Zoom Phone in India with local phone numbers, starting in the Maharashtra telecom circle (Pune). It has since extended the service to other circles, including Tamil Nadu. Zoom's About page lists offices in Bengaluru and Chennai, and the company has said it routes Indian meeting data through data centres in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Zoom has been listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker ZM since its 2019 IPO. Its leadership page names Eric Yuan as CEO, Michelle Chang as CFO and Xuedong Huang as CTO. The company said in 2025 that Zoom Phone had passed 10 million seats worldwide. Zoom has also announced a technology centre in Bengaluru to hire local staff.
