The best hotel software for an Indian property is usually a combination of three tools: a property management system (PMS) for reservations, check-in, housekeeping and billing, a channel manager that keeps rates and inventory in sync on MakeMyTrip, Booking.com and Agoda, and a booking engine for direct bookings on your own website. Indian options such as eZee Absolute, Djubo, Hotelogix and AxisRooms cover these well. Most Indian hotel software vendors do not publish prices. AxisRooms is an exception: its channel manager starts at $50 a month for 1 to 10 rooms, and its booking engine starts at $30 a month.

Property management system (PMS)
The PMS is the front office system. It handles the room chart, reservations, check-in and check-out, guest records, housekeeping status, folios, GST invoices, and night audit. Resorts need extras such as activity bookings, packages (room plus meals plus experiences) and restaurant or spa charges posted to the room.
Channel manager (hotel distribution software)
A channel manager pushes your room availability and rates to online travel agencies (OTAs) and pulls bookings back in real time. Without one, you update each extranet by hand and risk overbookings. In India, the essential channels are MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia and Airbnb.
Booking engine
A booking engine adds a "Book now" flow to your website so guests can reserve directly and pay online. Direct bookings avoid OTA commission, which is why most hotels invest here once distribution is sorted.
Revenue, reputation and marketing tools
Rate shoppers, revenue management systems, review management and guest messaging help you price better and win repeat guests. These matter more as the property grows.

eZee Absolute
eZee Absolute is a cloud PMS widely used by independent Indian hotels and resorts. Its front desk, housekeeping, night audit and GST billing are mature, and it connects to eZee's own POS, booking engine and channel manager. According to the vendor, pricing is modular, based on rooms, terminals and interfaces, with a one-time setup fee and a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription. You request a quote through its pricing form.
Djubo
Djubo is built for Indian hotels. Its pricing page lists three annual plans for properties with at least 10 rooms: Growing Hotelier (central reservations, channel manager, booking engine, analytics, mobile app), Pro Hotelier (adds PMS, housekeeping, POS, metasearch and petty cash) and Master Hotelier (adds web check-in, revenue manager, reputation management, rate shopper and an agent booking engine). Djubo notes GST at 18% extra and a 10% yearly price increase. Exact prices were not displayed publicly when we checked.
AxisRooms
AxisRooms is one of the few Indian hotel distribution software vendors with published prices. According to its pricing page:
- Channel manager: $50/month for 1 to 10 rooms, $80 for 11 to 30, $100 for 31 to 70, $120 for 71 to 100, rising to $270/month above 200 rooms.
- Booking engine: $30/month for 1 to 10 rooms, up to $250/month above 200 rooms.
- Revenue management system: from $120/month for 1 to 10 rooms.
- Rate shopper, hotel exchange and OTA extranet: from $30/month.
- PMS: price not published; demo required.
Enterprise pricing above 200 rooms is on request.
Hotelogix and Staah
Hotelogix is a cloud PMS with integrated distribution, used by single properties and small chains. Staah specialises in channel management and booking engines and connects to many PMS products. Both are quote-based.
Resort booking and property management software
Resorts have different needs from city hotels:
- Packages and meal plans (EP, CP, MAP, AP) priced per person, not just per room.
- Villa, cottage and tent inventory with different occupancy rules.
- Activities and experiences such as safaris, spa sessions or adventure sports, booked and billed to the room.
- Multiple outlets (restaurant, bar, spa) posting to one guest folio.
- Seasonal and weekend pricing with minimum stay rules.
- Advance deposits and cancellation policies collected online.
eZee Absolute, Djubo Pro Hotelier, Hotelogix and IDS Next handle packages and outlets. For a small homestay or villa, Little Hotelier, Lodgify or Hostaway may be simpler. Check that the resort reservation software supports your meal plans before signing.
Hotel billing software
Hotel billing in India has specific GST rules. Room tariff GST depends on the declared tariff slab, and food, spa and other services can be taxed differently. Your hotel billing software should:
- Apply GST automatically by tariff and service.
- Generate B2B invoices with the company's GSTIN for corporate guests.
- Split folios between guest and company.
- Post restaurant and room service charges from POS to the room.
- Handle advances, refunds and multiple payment modes, including UPI.
- Export to Tally or your accounting software.

MakeMyTrip Extranet, Booking.com and other OTAs
MakeMyTrip Extranet (often called MMT Connect or InGo-MMT) is where you manage your listing, rates, inventory and promotions for MakeMyTrip and Goibibo. Booking.com Extranet and Agoda YCS do the same for their sites.
You can run a small property from the extranets alone, but every rate change has to be made in each one. Once you list on three or more OTAs, a channel manager connected to them saves time and prevents overbookings. Confirm the channel manager has a live, two-way connection with MakeMyTrip, since that is the largest source of bookings for many Indian hotels.
Hotel marketing software
Growth after distribution usually comes from:
- Direct booking engines with offers for returning guests.
- Metasearch listings on Google Hotels.
