For most Indian SMBs, Exotel offers the lowest published entry cost for a proper cloud phone system (its Dabbler pack is ₹9,999 with 3 agents and 5,000 credits), Knowlarity is the most flexible for small call teams because it prices per agent (its voice pricing page lists plans from ₹1,999 per agent per month), and MyOperator is the better value if you want unlimited calling plus WhatsApp in one bill, starting at ₹5,000 a month billed yearly for 10 users. Ozonetel is quote-based and aimed at larger contact centres, Gallabox is a WhatsApp-first tool rather than a telephony system, and Corefactors is a CRM with calling built in. All prices here are from official vendor pages and exclude GST.

What cloud telephony does for a small business

Cloud telephony replaces a desk phone system (EPABX) with a service that runs over the internet and mobile networks. You get:

  • a virtual number or toll-free number that rings on your team's mobiles or laptops;
  • an IVR ("press 1 for sales") that routes calls;
  • call recording and call logs for every agent;
  • missed call alerts and follow-up reports;
  • integrations with your CRM so every call is logged against a lead.

In India there is one extra reason to use a provider rather than personal phones: calls come from a single business identity, and the number stays with the company when an employee leaves.

MyOperator pricing

According to MyOperator's official pricing page, plans are billed yearly:

  • Sedan: ₹5,000/month for 10 users. Includes unlimited incoming and outgoing calling, call recording, WhatsApp chat, IVR, broadcasts, basic reports and a Shopify integration.
  • SUV: ₹15,000/month for 10 users. Adds higher calling capacity, web calls, whispering and barging, smart IVR, 100+ integrations, webhooks, real-time dashboards and agent shift management.
  • AI Team and Enterprise: custom pricing, with voice and chat AI agents.

Published add-ons include a 1800 toll-free number from ₹500/month, an auto-dialer from ₹700/user/month and Truecaller Business from ₹30,000/month. WhatsApp messages are listed at ₹0.95 (marketing) and ₹0.13 (authentication or utility), with Meta charges extra. MyOperator also lists a 30-day refund policy.

Strengths: flat team pricing, unlimited calling in the entry plan, WhatsApp in the same dashboard.

Watch out for: yearly billing means a larger upfront payment, and 10 users is the plan size even if you only need three.

Knowlarity pricing

Knowlarity publishes its plans on its voice pricing page (knowlarity.com/pricing/voice). Its cloud call centre plans start at ₹1,999 per agent per month, and the page also lists softphone, missed call and toll-free number plans. We could not load the full page securely when checking, so confirm the tier details and what counts as "unlimited" on the official page before you buy.

Strengths: per-agent pricing suits a two- or three-person team, a long track record with SMBs, and products such as the SuperReceptionist virtual receptionist (Knowlarity SuperReceptionist).

Watch out for: per-agent costs add up as the team grows, and outbound calling rules differ by plan.

Exotel pricing

Exotel's business phone system pricing page lists three prepaid packs:

  • Dabbler: ₹9,999. 5-month validity, ₹4,999 rental, 5,000 credits for calls, SMS and WhatsApp, 1 virtual number and 3 agents.
  • Believer: ₹19,999. 11-month validity, ₹10,499 rental, 9,500 credits, 2 virtual numbers and 6 agents.
  • Influencer: ₹49,499. 11-month validity, ₹10,499 rental, 39,000 credits, 10 virtual numbers and unlimited agents.

All packs include multi-level IVR, live dashboards, call recordings, analytics, auto-dialers and APIs. Exotel offers a 7-day free trial with ₹500 of credits. Enterprise contact centre plans (Exotel Contact Center) are quote-based.

Strengths: you pay mostly for what you use, and APIs are strong if your developers want to build call flows into your app (Exotel API).

Watch out for: credits run out faster with heavy outbound calling, so estimate your minutes first.

Ozonetel, Gallabox and Corefactors

Ozonetel

Ozonetel CloudAgent is a cloud contact centre platform used by inbound and outbound call centres. Ozonetel does not publish prices on its website, so pricing is quote-based. It fits businesses with a dedicated calling team rather than a shop owner who needs an IVR. See also Ozonetel Contact Center.

Gallabox

Gallabox is mainly a WhatsApp business platform, not a phone system. Its official pricing page lists Basic at ₹2,399/month billed annually (₹2,999 quarterly) for 3 users, Essential at ₹5,599/month annually for 6 users, and Advanced at ₹13,599/month annually for 10 users, plus WhatsApp conversation and AI voice usage. Pick it if most of your customers message rather than call.

Corefactors

Corefactors is an Indian CRM that includes calling, SMS and WhatsApp alongside lead management. Its official pricing page blocked our checks, so we have not quoted a price. Ask Corefactors for a quote and compare it against a telephony plan plus a separate CRM.

Which offers better pricing and overall value for an Indian SMB, MyOperator or Knowlarity?

It depends on team size and how much you call:

  • 1 to 3 people taking mostly inbound calls: Knowlarity's per-agent pricing from ₹1,999 per agent per month usually costs less than a 10-user MyOperator plan.
  • 5 to 10 people making lots of outbound calls: MyOperator's Sedan plan at ₹5,000/month for 10 users with unlimited calling usually gives better value, because per-agent pricing for the same team would cost more.
  • You also need WhatsApp: MyOperator includes WhatsApp chat in the entry plan, which saves paying for a separate tool.
  • Your call volume is low or seasonal: neither may be cheapest. Exotel's prepaid credit packs can cost less.

Before you decide, ask both vendors for a written quote for your number of agents, expected monthly minutes and number of virtual numbers, then compare the yearly total including GST.

How to choose a cloud telephony provider

  1. Count agents and minutes. Per-agent, per-team and credit-based pricing only compare fairly once you know these two numbers.
  2. Check number types. Do you need a local virtual number, a mobile-style number or a toll-free 1800 number?
  3. Ask about outbound rules. Outbound calling, auto-dialers and caller ID are regulated in India, and providers apply their own limits.
  4. Test call quality. Use the free trial to make real calls from your city to customers' networks.
  5. Confirm CRM integration. Make sure calls log automatically into your CRM. See our best CRM software in India guide.
  6. Plan for WhatsApp. If customers prefer to message, compare a WhatsApp tool too. See WATI vs Interakt vs AiSensy.
  7. Read the contract. Check lock-in, refund terms and who owns the number if you leave.

FAQs

Which is cheaper, MyOperator or Knowlarity?

For a very small team, Knowlarity's per-agent plans from ₹1,999 per agent per month are usually cheaper. For a team of around 10 with heavy calling, MyOperator's ₹5,000/month Sedan plan (billed yearly) usually works out cheaper.

Does Exotel have a free trial?

Yes. Exotel lists a 7-day free trial with ₹500 of free credits on its business phone system pricing page.

What is the price of MyOperator?

MyOperator's official pricing page lists Sedan at ₹5,000/month and SUV at ₹15,000/month, both billed yearly for 10 users, plus GST. AI and Enterprise plans are custom-priced.

Is Ozonetel pricing public?

No. Ozonetel does not publish prices on its website, so you need to request a quote.

Is Gallabox a cloud telephony provider?

Gallabox is mainly a WhatsApp business platform. Its higher plans include AI voice features, but it is not a direct replacement for an IVR and call centre system.

Do I need a toll-free number?

Not always. A local virtual number is cheaper and enough for most SMBs. A toll-free number helps when customers call from across India and you want to cover the call cost.
