Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is one of India's largest private healthcare groups, based in Chennai. Dr. Prathap C. Reddy founded it, and its first hospital opened in Chennai in 1983. The group runs hospitals, pharmacies, diagnostic centres, primary care clinics and digital health services. It is listed on the Indian stock exchanges.

Apollo 24|7 is an app and website for online doctor consultations, ordering medicines, booking lab tests and keeping health records. Brokerage and media reports said the pharmacy network had more than 6,000 outlets during FY2025. Dr. Prathap C. Reddy is Executive Chairman. His daughters hold senior executive roles, including Dr. Sangita Reddy as Joint Managing Director. A published case study says Apollo 24|7 launched in February 2020, about 45 days into the COVID-19 pandemic. Apollo credits Dr. Sangita Reddy with driving the telemedicine and health-record work that grew into Apollo 24|7.
