TranZact

TranZact is a Mumbai-based software company that builds cloud-based, GST-compliant business management software for small and medium-sized manufacturers in India. It now operates under the TranZact AI branding and website.

Its products digitise a manufacturer's core operations, from customer inquiry and quotation through purchase, inventory, production and dispatch. The main product lines are TranZact Inventory for stock and warehouse management and TranZact Manufacturing for production planning and bills of materials. Its sales and purchase modules handle quotations, orders and invoicing. The company says it serves more than 10,000 Indian manufacturers across sectors such as engineering, electronics, chemicals, packaging, automotive, food and beverage, D2C and renewables.

TranZact sells subscription plans to SME manufacturers through a direct sales and onboarding team, and prices are typically discussed after a product demo. Because its target customers are often moving from spreadsheets or desktop accounting tools, implementation and data onboarding are part of the sales process.

The company says it was founded in 2017 by Ritesh Kumar, Sharad Sen Sharma and Rohan Sen Sharma, graduates of IIT and IIM. Adarsh Sikaria later joined as Chief Revenue Officer. In 2021, TranZact raised a $7 million Series A led by Tribe Capital, with participation from Prime Venture Partners, Gemba Capital and Kae Capital. Its listed office is at WeWork Raheja Platinum in Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai. The company has not published a current employee count on its About page, and it does not disclose revenue. Buyers should confirm current plan inclusions, the number of users and integrations with accounting software.
