Wondersoft is a Chennai-based company that makes retail and distribution software, mainly point of sale (POS) and ERP systems. Its About page says it was founded in 1996 by Chidambaram, who is still Founder and Managing Director, after he started developing software in 1985. Corporate registry records show Wondersoft Private Limited was incorporated in Tamil Nadu in February 1995.

Its main products are eShopaid, a web-based retail ERP for chains with several stores, and Shopaid, a billing and inventory system for independent retailers. The products listed on appadvisor.in include Wondersoft POS, inventory, pharmacy and ShopAid tools. The company also sells a promotions engine and Whoisin, a biometric attendance system. It serves retailers in apparel, pharmacy, footwear, supermarkets, consumer electronics, food and beverage, and other retail sectors, with GST billing support.
